In a documentary that aired on Amazon Prime Video last year, Kelce asked his former teammates and other Eagles legends for retirement advice. Last week, he spoke with Shaquille O’Neal on the NBA Legend podcast.

“My advice to you is if you’re going to retire, embrace it, enjoy your family, bro,” O’Neill said. An attentive callus. “I made a lot of mistakes where I lost my family, and I had no one.
“That’s not the case for you. So, enjoy your beautiful wife, enjoy your beautiful children and never dwell on what we had. We got what we had—you got the ring.” Got it, people know who you are, enjoy. Because, again, I was an idiot, and I’ve talked about it for a long time. I love my whole family. I’m in a 100,000 square foot house myself.”
O’Neill said Page six He also told Kelis, “Don’t be a fool like me.”
If that January game is his last, the 36-year-old Kelce will retire as a six-time first-team All-Pro and seven-time Pro Bowler. He helped anchor the 2017 Super Bowl team that upset Tom Brady. New England Patriots for the franchise’s first championship.

The Eagles selected Kelce in the sixth round of the 2011 draft. He began his career when Andy Reid was the head coach, played under Chip Kelly and Doug Pederson and appeared to be winding down under Nick Siriani.
