Oh US soldier Killed in a non-combat incident at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, according to a press release issued by the US military.

The soldier’s identity is currently being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The cause of the soldier’s death is being investigated.

Camp Arifjan is a US military installation just south of Kuwait City. air Force, Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard personnel. The installation also includes personnel from Australia, Canada, Romania, Poland and the UK.

The soldier’s death comes as US bases in the Middle East are on high alert after Hamas. October 7 Attack on Israel which killed around 1,200 people and injured hundreds more.

In the months since, a broad coalition of Iranian-backed militia groups has carried out more than 160 attacks on American targets in support of Israel.

Last month, three US soldiers were killed in a drone attack on the US military base known as Tower 22 in Jordan, near the border between Syria and Iraq. More than 40 soldiers were killed in the attack.

A US official later confirmed to Fox News Digital that the drone that killed the three US soldiers was manufactured in Iran.
